Product Description
SUPER-COR® XL Modules are designed for ultrafiltration and microfiltration in juice processing. They feature membranes made from PVDF (HFM-180 and HFM-513) or polyethersulfone (MFK-617), configured with nineteen ½” diameter tubules in a polysulfone shell. These modules conform to FDA regulations and are available in different options for light, all, and dark juices.

Specifications
All models (SUPER-COR® XL 3012-HFM-180, 3012-HFM-513, and 3012-MFK-617) have a membrane area of 28.8 ft² (2.7 m²).

Operating and Design Information
The modules operate at a maximum pressure of 90 psi at 120°F, with a minimum outlet pressure of 10 psi. The maximum permeate pressure is 3 psi, and the typical feed side pressure drop per module is 4-6 psi. They can operate continuously at 120°F with a pH range of 2.0 to 10.0, and short-term at 130°F with a pH range of 1.5 to 10.5. Maximum chlorine concentration for cleaning is 200 ppm at pH 10-10.5.
