SUPER-COR® MODULES

Product catalog summary
Product Description
SUPER-COR® modules are designed for juice processing using ultrafiltration and microfiltration technologies. The membranes are made from PVDF (HFM-180 and HFM-513) or polyethersulfone (MFK-617). The modules consist of nineteen ½” diameter tubules within a polysulfone shell. They conform to FDA regulations (CFR Title 21) and are available in different options for light, all, and dark juices.
Specifications
Each module has a membrane area of 24 ft² (2.2 m²). The part numbers are 0712010 for HFM-180, 0712070 for HFM-513, and 0712004 for MFK-617.
Operating and Design Information
The maximum operating pressure is 90 psi at 120°F (6.2 bar at 49°C), with a minimum outlet pressure of 10 psi (0.7 bar). The maximum permeate pressure is 3 psi (0.2 bar). The typical feed side pressure drop per module is 4-5 psi (0.27-0.35 bar), with a maximum of 5 psi at 120°F (0.35 bar at 49°C). The allowable pH range at 120°F is 2.0 – 10.0 continuously and 1.5 – 10.5 short term. Maximum chlorine for cleaning is 200 ppm at pH 10-10.5, 120°F (49°C).
Nominal Dimensions
The modules have a diameter of 3.6” (91mm) and a length of 120” (3048 mm), with sanitary connections of 3” and 1”.
