Product catalog summary
Overview of High Angle Torque Testing System
The High Angle Torque Testing System is designed to perform high angle torque tests, ultimate torsion tests (Static Fracture Tests), and fatigue tests on half shafts. It controls steering angle, high torque, and rotation using a servo motor for rotational drive and steering motion, and a hydraulic rotary actuator for high torque generation. The Deneb-DE control system manages three axes feedback control, aiming to reduce vibration and noise during high torque rotation. The system offers both automatic and manual control functions.

System Components
The system comprises two hydraulic power units, an electric console, a control rack, and the main system. The hydraulic power units supply pressure to the rotary actuator, controlled by a servo valve. The electric console houses the drive unit for the servo motor and other components, with signals managed via a motion generation interface card. The control rack includes the controller and user interface module, transforming user-generated waveforms and test schedules into signals for each module.

Specifications
  • Torque loop system for half-shaft specimen testing
  • Hybrid system combining hydraulic and electrical servo systems
  • Torque generation via hydraulic servo rotary system
  • Specimen rotation and swiveling motion by electric servo motor
  • Main base frame with high stiffness for heavy torque
  • Driving section adjustment function with electric motor
  • High precision and wireless torque measuring sensor included
The torque is measured by a wireless torque cell, with signals amplified and collected by the DAQ device at the controller.

Testing Capabilities
The system can conduct high angle torque tests, ultimate torsion tests, and fatigue tests by applying rotation and torque at specific angles. It is a hybrid system optimized for testing, with a driving adjustment function for various specimen lengths. The hydraulic rotary actuator has a 10kNm capacity, transmitting torque via the torque loop. The system can operate at up to 50 RPM, independent of torque, with a swiveling angle range of 0 to 50 degrees and a moving speed of 10 degrees/sec.

Control and Software
The control loop diagram manages torque control, specimen rotation RPM control, and steering angle control. Hydraulic power is used for torque control, while the electric servo motor manages rotation RPM and steering control. The operation software, based on Sabio-D for the Deneb DE controller, offers correct control performance and a convenient GUI. Sabio-D provides continuous upgrades and supports linear and nonlinear PID control, with various application software available.

CV-Joint High AngleTorque Testing System-1

High Angle Torque Testing System The half shaft’s high angle torque test, ultimate torsion test (Static Fracture Test), and fatigue test is performed by the High Angle Torque Testing System. The system can control the steering angle, high torque, and rotation. The system uses the servo motor for the rotational drive and steering motion and uses the hydraulic rotary actuator for the high torque generation. The Deneb-DE control system is for controlling three axes feedback control. The system is designed to decrease the vibration and noise because of the high torque rotation. The computer system has automatic and manual functions for the controlling and measuring.
