Our components are utilised in topography and ranging instruments used in harsh environments with high grit and sand levels and extreme temperatures in arctic to desert climates. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) systems are used in monitoring wind speeds and directions on proposed and existing wind farm sites and in systems used for topographical measurement, void and cavity surveys in the mining industry and many other survey equipment products. Typical optical products are; High precision front surface mirrors Coated for maximum reflectivity at specific laser wavelengths or ranges in the visible or NIR spectrums Custom Wedges Custom wedge prisms for beam direction alteration, offered in a range of Visible and NIR materials including Silicon, with AR coatings at specified wavelengths or wavelengths ranges Cover windows Designed from tough materials able to withstand impact damage as well as scratches from high grit environments, these windows protect the vital components of the LiDAR system. Materials for visible and NIR uses include: Sapphire, BK7, Fused Silica, Polycarbonate, quartz and toughened borosilicate. Optical filters Stocked in a range of bandwidths and wavelengths, these filters isolate light wavelengths in the visible and NIR spectrums, with laser wavelengths available. Lenses High precision lenses in a range of materials suited for laser alignment and beam shaping in laser receiving and delivery optics All our optics can have custom AR coatings applied to match any specific wavelength or just a broad range of wavelengths.
