Product catalog summary
Overview: The document provides technical specifications and details for the LABOPORT® Mini Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps, specifically the Series N 816.1.2. These pumps are designed for laboratory applications, offering contamination-free transfer and evacuation of gases.
Specifications: The pumps are double-head, dry-running devices with a structured diaphragm optimized for stress using the Finite Elements method. They are compact, have a long service life, and are available in versions for slightly aggressive or corrosive gases and vapors. Key features include 100% oil-free transfer, maintenance-free operation, and high gas tightness.
Technical Data: The document lists technical data for different models (N 816.1.2 KN.18, N 816.1.2 KN.45.18, N 816.1.2 KT.45.18), including delivery rate (30 l/min), ultimate vacuum (100-160 mbar abs.), operating pressure (0.5 bar g), and permissible temperature range (+5 to +40 °C). The pumps operate on 230V/50Hz with a power consumption of 100 W and an operating current of 0.6 A.
Materials: The materials in contact with the pumped media vary by model, with options including PPS, EPDM, and PTFE-coated FFPM for the pump head, diaphragm, and valves.
Accessories and Spare Parts: The document lists available accessories and spare parts, such as a fine control valve with a vacuum gauge and spares kits for different pump models.
Performance Characteristics: Graphs in the document illustrate the pump down time for a 20-liter receiver and flow capacity at different pressures, highlighting the performance of the pumps under various conditions.
Contact Information: The document provides contact details for KNF Neuberger GmbH, including phone, fax, and email.

Datasheet N 816.1.2 KN.18-1

Diaphragm Pumps for Air, Gases and Vapours LABOPORT® Mini Diaphragm Vacuum Pumps ■ Pure transferring and evacuation of gases ■ Version for slightly aggressive or corrosive gases and vapours ■ High level of gas tightness. Series N 816.1.2 diaphragm pumps are double-head, dry-running devices used in a wide range of laboratory applications. They transfer and pump down without contamination. The heart of these very compact pumps is a KNF structured diaphragm. This patented diaphragm was stress-optimized using the Finite Elements method. As a result, we were able to make the pumps smaller while increasing the service life of the diaphragm. The pumps are available in various versions differing in the materials which contact the media.
