Most Variable Smartline Module Special modifications of the Assistant 6000 cover different segments of liquid chromatographic work, like Preparative Chromatography Solid phase extraction (SPE) Two dimensional Chromatography Column switching The Assistant 6000 is a combination modul, optionaly fitted with up to three single modules (Smartline Pump 100 with or without pressure sensor, Smartline UV Detector 200 and/or valve drives with 2, 6, 12, or 16 switching positions). The single instruments as well as the power supply are placed in one housing which can easily be integrated into a Smartline tower or a Prepline system. Two of the instruments are situated at the front side whereas the third one, allways an electrical valve drive, faces to the lefthand side. The instrument operation and control is not changed by integrating into the Assistant 6000. Counting only this instruments and not considering additional variations like the type of detector flow cell, the type of pump head or the valve specification (material or connectors) a total number of more than 300 varations is possible. This number itself already underlines the great variability of the Assistant 6000.

The 1 digit nd rd describes the rear position, the 2 and 3 digits the front positions left and right.
