ChromGate® is a full-featured scalable chromatography data system in compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for instrument control, data acquisition and report creation. It can be used to control a wide range of chromatography systems ranging from capillary electrophoresis to analytical and preparative HPLC, and even up to simulated moving bed systems. Chromatography tasks can be easily scaled-up while staying in one single software environment. ChromGate® ist eine umfassende und skalierbare Softwarelösung für die „FDA 21 CFR Part 11“-konforme Ansteuerung, Datenauswertung und Reporterstellung von unterschiedlichsten Chromatografie-Anlagen. Es können Systeme von der Kapillarelektrophorese, über die analytische und präparative HPLC bis zur „Simulated Moving Bed“-Chromatografie gesteuert werden. Dadurch wird ein Up-Scaling innerhalb einer einzigen Softwareumgebung möglich. Benefits for the user are a unified user interface and simplified operation made possible by “wizard”-assisted programming. Lab managers benefit from reduced training expenses, a uniform system configuration and data reporting, as well as less maintenance. ChromGate® software is based on the well-known EZChrom Elite kernel and the “RapidControl” open driver concept which makes it possible to incorporate and control non-KNAUER instruments into a ChromGate system. KNAUER instruments can also be integrated into other EZChrom Elite systems supporting RapidControl drivers. More than 300 EZChrom Elite drivers for instruments from different manufacturers such as Agilent, Varian or Thermo Electron are currently available. With the ChromGate® Generic Driver Option, exclusively from KNAUER, virtually any instrument which communicates via RS-232 (ASCII) can also be integrated. Vorteil für den Anwender ist eine einheitliche und leichte Bedienung, die z. B. Programmieraufgaben mit sog. „Wizards“ unterstützt. Laborleiter profitieren von einheitlichen Reports, reduzierten Kosten für Anwendertraining und von einer vereinfachten Konfiguration sowie Wartung. ChromGate® basiert auf dem bekannten EZChrom Elite Kernel. Dank des offenen „RapidControl“-Treiberkonzepts können KNAUER-Geräte in NichtKNAUER-Anlagen mit vorhandener EZChrom-Steuerung eingesetzt werden. Gleichermaßen können von EZChrom unterstützte Nicht-KNAUER-Geräte in KNAUER-Anlagen integriert werden. Derzeit verfügen mehr als 300 Geräte von Herstellern wie Agilent, Varian oder Thermo Electron über EZChrom-Treiber. Zusätzlich können mit der nur von KNAUER erhältlichen Generic Driver-Option praktisch alle Geräte direkt eingebunden werden, die über RS-232 und ASCII-Protokoll kommunizieren.
