Product catalog summary
Overview
The document discusses the importance of maintaining a constant abrasive flow rate for efficient and economical cutting processes, particularly when dealing with brittle materials like stone, marble, or glass. The ABRALINE III feeding system is highlighted as a solution for monitoring and ensuring a stable abrasive flow.

ABRALINE III Feeding System
The ABRALINE III system is designed to monitor abrasive availability during the cutting process, protecting materials from damage and reducing costs and time. It offers process stability, security, and high reliability. The system can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into a centralized control system, enhancing the efficiency of waterjet cutting systems.

System Components
  • 200 Liter Storage Tank: A non-pressurized upper tank with a 200-liter capacity, featuring an integrated sieve to prevent contamination.
  • 24 Liter Pressure Vessel: A lower tank that feeds abrasive to metering systems, pressurized by compressed air.
  • Sensors and Control: Level sensors monitor abrasive availability, with a control lamp indicating system status and a warning light for low abrasive levels.

Abrasive Management System AMS IV
The ABRALINE III is part of the AMS IV, designed for precise and reliable abrasive flow management. It can feed up to four FEEDLINE V units, which supply abrasive to ACTIVE AUTOLINE™ II cutting heads.

ABRALINE III - Abrasive Bulk Transfer System-1

Layout 1 table.main {} tr.row {} td.cell {} div.block {} div.paragraph {} .font0 { font:7.00pt "Lucida Sans Unicode", sans-serif; } Production reliability requires constant vigilance during the entire cutting process. An economical and successful cutting process depends greatly on a constant abrasive flow rate. This fact becomes even more important when cutting brittle materials such as stone, marble or glass. Abrasive Flow Monitoring saves Time & Costs Our ABRALINE III feeding system precisely monitors the availability of sufficient abrasive closely during the entire cutting process. This protects your valuable material from damage and saves unnecessary costs and time. Its concept assures process stability, security and a very high degree of reliability. Stand Alone Unit or System Integratable The ABRALINE III provides all features to stabilize the cutting process and can be installed in two different ways - as a stand-alone unit or as an integrated component connected to a centralized control system. When used in one or multiͭple shift operation of automated cutting systems, the ABRALINE III feeding system contributes to the economical use of the entire waterjet cutting system. 200 Liter Storage Tank with Filter Sieve The complete system consists of 2 tanks. The upper tank is non-pressurized and it has a load capacity of 200 Liters (approx. 400 kg) of abrasive. It is easily accessible, and the abrasive can be loaded even while cutting by only removing the top cover. The integrated sieve ensures that no contami-nated particles may be loaded. Sensors Monitor Abrasive Availability Both of the tanks contain level sensors in the sand exit slot areas. Their signals are constantly monitored in the control station located in the electrical cabinet. Control Lamp shows System's Status The colour control lamp that is located on the front of the control cabinet and the display right below that lamp constantly shows the status of the unit. Once the sand level is lower than that of the sensor, the pressure vessel opens itself automatically allowing the abrasive to fall in from the upper tank. Flashing Lamp Reminds you to Fill Up the Storage Tank If the abrasive level in the upper tank is lower than the re-quired level, a warning light begins to flash and the appro-priate message appears on the display. These two indicators inform the operator to replenish the storage hopper with abrasive sand. >>> 24 Liter Pressure Vessel Feeds Abrasive to Metering Systems The lower 24-Liter tank lies directly underneath. It is a vessel containing abrasive sand pressurized by compressed air. The connected flexible hose guides the abrasive directly to the abrasive metering system of each cutting head.
