Product catalog summary
Sizes Available
This gasket type is available only as a finished gasket ring. It is compatible with flange types DIN 2633, DIN 2634, and DIN 2635 (PN 16, 25, 40) with sizes ranging from DN 15 to 500 and a thickness of 1.5 mm. Additional sizes can be requested.

Function and Durability
The performance and longevity of Klinger Gaskets are largely dependent on installation conditions, which are beyond the manufacturer's control. The company guarantees the material's perfect condition and advises adherence to installation instructions.

Basis
The gasket material is composed of expanded graphite with internal metal reinforcement made of tanged stainless steel 1.4401 with a thickness of 0.10 mm or foil of 0.05 mm. In case of supply shortages, 1.4404 may be used.

Properties
The gasket offers excellent handling compared to typical graphite gasket materials. It features a special sealing area and a precompressed area tailored to the pressure rating and flange size, ensuring safe sealing with bolts of quality 5.6 across all deliverable sizes. The precompressed area is pre-tightened by the manufacturer, while the sealing area adapts to the sealing surfaces. The gasket's safe operation is enhanced by the flexible graphite's properties, including chemical resistance, no creep, and temperature resistance from -200°C to 450°C, making it suitable for fluctuating stress.

Certification
The gasket is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.

KLINGER®compri-1

The intelligent graphite gasket KLINGERcompri Basis Gasket material made of expanded graphite with internal metal reinforcement made of tanged stainless steel 1.4401* of 0.10 mm thickness or foil of 0.05 mm thickness. * In case of supply shortfall also 1.4404 may be delivered. The intelligent graphite gasket for the DIN-flange. The high fluctuations of the surface stress within the DIN flange ratings also by using the same bolt quality and bolt use are compensated by this new patent pending gasket type. Properties The gasket impresses by a very good handling in comparison with the usual graphite gasket materials. sealing area The gasket ring has a special sealing area and a defined precompressed area up to the used pressure rating and flange size. These properties are leading to a safe sealing with bolts of the quality 5.6 through all sizes which can be delivered. The prcompressed area has got his tightness already at the producer, the adaptation to the sealing surfaces is performed by the definated sealing area. The safe operation of this gasket is optimised by the important properties of the flexible graphite which are chemical resistance, no creep, temperature resistant from -200°C to 450°C and the outstanding suitability at fluctuating stress. metal reinforcement precompressed area Sizes available This gasket type is available only as a finished gasket ring.
