ES sirens utilize a common control system with communication and control interfaces for radio and landline. They offer user-programmable warning signal generation, live and digitally stored voice messages, and a self-test facility. The sirens use modular, Class D audio power amplifiers to drive a loudspeaker array, providing sound pressure levels from 106 dB to 125 dB at 30 meters. They can cover areas with a radius from 300m to 2000m, offering both omni-directional and uni-directional warnings.
The internal 'Quiet Test' facility allows for a complete power test, with status reports available on the control panel or communicated to a control station.
