Overview: The K3163i Universal Relay Test Set is an all-in-one device designed for testing various types of electromagnetic and microcomputer relays. It complies with IEC61850 SV & GOOSE standards and supports digital signals according to IEC61850-9-1 / IEC61850-9-2 protocols. The device can synchronize with GPS and IRIG-B.
Voltage Outputs: The test set provides voltage outputs with a range of 4×310V AC (L-N), 2×620V AC (L-L), and 3×350V DC (L-N). The accuracy for AC is typically <0.03%Rd+0.02Rg and guaranteed <0.07%Rd+0.03Rg. For DC, the accuracy is ±10mV for outputs <5V and ±0.5% for outputs ≥5V.
Current Outputs: It offers current outputs with a range of 6×32A AC (L-N), 6×64A AC (2L-N), and 3×20A DC (L-N). There is also a 1×100A AC (6L-N) output. The accuracy for AC is typically <0.03%Rd+0.02Rg and guaranteed <0.15%Rd+0.05Rg. For DC, the accuracy is ±5mA for outputs <1A and ±0.5% for outputs ≥1A.
Additional Features: The frequency range is DC~1KHZ, with a transient capability up to 3KHZ. The phase range is 0°~360°. An auxiliary DC voltage source is available with a range of 0~350V at 180W max, with an accuracy of 0.5% Rg guaranteed.
Binary Inputs and Outputs: The device includes 8 pairs of binary inputs and 4 pairs of binary outputs, which can be of semiconductor or relay type.
Synchronization: Synchronization is achieved via GPS with an SMA type antenna connector or IRIG-B.
Optional Modules: The test set can be equipped with optional modules such as a transducer
calibrator, standard meter, transient recorder, and energy meter calibration. The hardware is ready for IEC61850 SV & GOOSE activation, requiring additional PCB installation at the factory.
Model Variants: The K31 series includes different models with varying current and voltage output capabilities, such as the K3166i, K3163i, and K3130i, each offering specific maximum output capacities.
