Designed according to the modular component principle, with a capacity of upto 1,300 kegs/h depending on configuration (upto 10 handling segments). The use of brushes for side cleaning and high pressure spraying for the keg fitting area ensures the effective removal of labels and heavy soiling. Each keg runs through the external washer on conveyor belts, while being intensively cleaned by a spray nozzle system and then cleared of any adherent cleaning agent by a sensor-controlled fresh water spray. Key Features · The external keg cleaner AK series is comprised of modular components and can consequently be designed for various capacity and cleaning requirements. · Drawer sieve made from perforated sheet metal for collecting coarse soiling such as labels. · A dirt trap in the pressure line ensures maximum operational reliability in the system. · Self-closing doors in infeed and discharge. · All function buttons, switches and indicator lamps are integrated into the control boxes; all operating conditions as well as operating modes can be adjusted here. Faults which occur are indicated by warning lights. Standard Equipment · This compact machine is manufactured from steel (1.4301 (304)) · The lower part of the housing serves as a drip pan for cleaning media (one each per bath). · Available in versions with either Siemens or AllenBradley controls · Control units, low-voltage power distribution and wiring are located in a splashproof control box made of stainless steel. · A fluid sensor is located on the sides of each of the pans for monitoring the bath level. · They ensure sufficient fill height in the bath and prevent the cleaning agent pumps from running dry. · The bath is automatically heated by a thermostat-controlled heating coil.
