This document provides detailed technical specifications, characteristics, and dimensional data for Stainless Steel Fairloc Hub Spur Gears, specifically modules 0.5, 0.8, and 1.0 made from SUS303 stainless steel. These gears conform to JIS precision grades and are designed for use in mechanical power transmission applications.
The document includes extensive tables listing gear catalog numbers, module sizes, number of teeth, bore diameters, hub diameters, pitch diameters, outside diameters, face widths, hub widths, total lengths, and cap screw dimensions. Key mechanical parameters include:
This technical document serves as a comprehensive guide for selecting and applying Stainless Steel Fairloc Hub Spur Gears made from SUS303. It emphasizes precision standards, mechanical limits, and installation cautions to ensure reliable performance in mechanical systems. The detailed tables and charts support engineers in making informed decisions regarding gear size, torque capacity, and mounting requirements.

[Caution on Product Characteristics] © The allowable torques shown in the table are calculated values according to the assumed usage conditions. Please see Page 31 for more details. © The backlash values shown in the table are the theoretical values for the backlash in the normal direction of a pair of identical gears in mesh. © Fairloc Hub Gears are attached to the shaft by a friction coupling. Recommended shaft tolerances are g6, h6 and h7. Torque slippage should be considered when making a selection. @ Do not tighten the clamping screw without inserting a shaft, or the bore will be permanently deformed and will not accept a shaft © The following products are gear press-fitted into a hub : SUSL0.5 with 96 teeth or more, SUSL0.8 with 60 teeth or more. Also, some of the hubs might slightly differ in shape as shown in the diagram. ■ Fastening torque vs. Slipping torque The slipping torque which is dependent on the fastening torque can sometimes be less than the gear strength. Please use caution in selecting. The chart on the right shows the relationship between the slipping torque and the fastening torque. ■ Fastening torque vs. Slipping torque Other Bevel Worm Screw Bevel Miter CP Racks Dacks Internal Helical Spur Products Gearboxes Gear Pair Gears Gears Gears & Pinions Gears Gears Gears Drawing can be outputted from the Web Catalog as DXF files. [Caution on Secondary Operations] © Perform secondary operations carefully as to not distort the groove for clamping.
