Center Distance:
- The table provides center distances for spur gears (x=0) meshed with profile shifted spur gears (x=+0.5) with module 1.

- Formula: a = (H + x * m) / 2, where a is the assembly distance, H is the height of the pitch line of the rack, m is the module, z is the number of teeth, and x is the profile shift coefficient.
