Standing height cabinets (35" high) have an opening 24 "units" high. Sitting height cabinets (30" high) have an opening 20 "units" high. ADA height cabinets (321/2" high) have an opening 22 "units" high. When a removable back is specified, a 16" high access opening is cut in the cupboard back and covered with a nominal 1/4"-(5.5mm) hardboard back held in place by four screws. In addition, base cabinets may be specified with the J option to add lock panels.
