As an optional feature, Mailpiece Search is used to find and display already distributed mail pieces and shows their historical processing information. The management system receives the initial production jobs and saves them on mail piece level. After a production run the application generates the reprint data and therewith controls the data flow until the job is completely processed (closed loop). The production jobs can be decentralized and sent to vendor independent inserter environments. The service offers various interfaces to different preparation and inserter systems. Function Description ReprintControl  With this step the processing results in the database are reconciled and the system expects new paper for the reprint run only. In the meantime the new reprint file is generated and sent to the defined inserter environment, according to the business rules. These steps are repeated until all the mail pieces are processed correctly. The processed production information is archived for future tracking by a quality responsible member. Job data is sent in a predefined format by a preparation system and then imported by the mailFactory ® Reprint Control...
