Inserting with our reliable and compact classic, the Kern 686 Our Services ■ Personal advisory service on-site ■ System integration ■ Requirement analysis The inserting system Kern 686 is the proven, compact inserting system with the ability of processing single sheets up to a size of DIN-A3 and up to 3 inserts. To insert a DIN-A3 form into a C6 envelope doesn't pose a problem for the Kern 686 inserting system, because the integrated folding systems allow any combination of parallel and cross folding. In just one step the Kern 686 compares, folds and inserts the documents and seals the envelopes at high continuous output. Patented steel packing pockets hold the forms during the insertion process into the envelope. The documents are thus fully protected. As with manual inserting, the inserts are correctly put in the fold. When the addressee pulls out the content, nothing will remain in the envelope. To have control during the process, the Kern 686 is equipped with optical data-matrix reading at the input and the Kern mailFactory ® reading module, which guarantees the corresponding content in each envelope.
