Security Policies Plug-In KEPServerEX – Communications Platform The Security Policies Plug-In allows administrators to selectively assign security access permissions to individual objects (such as channels, devices, and tags) based on the role of a user interacting with the Runtime project. It is used in conjunction with the server’s User Manager, which is used to manage user groups, users, and default security settings. Changes made to the security access permissions will be applied dynamically as they occur, and do not require the Runtime to restart or reinitialize.
