ClientAce provides a dragand-drop interface to quickly and easily attach OPC items to any property or custom control built in Visual Studio. Furthermore, its full-featured .NET API provides effortless access to OPC UA, OPC DA, and OPC XML-DA server applications without previous knowledge of the OPC standard. Product Features ClientAce provides tools to help .NET and C# programmers easily build an OPC client application. ClientAce consists of two main parts: the .NET Application Programming Interface (API) and the DA Junction. These controls have the ability to do the following: • Perform the connection handling procedure for one or multiple OPC servers, including connection establishment, connection monitoring, and reconnection after errors. • Convert OPC Data from different OPC DA interfaces into .NET data types. • Provide high performance and optimized client/server communications. Requirements Software Microsoft Windows operating system requirements are the same for both ClientAce and the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment that is used to develop ClientAce applications. Hardware 100 MB available disk space is required.
