Product Overview
KEOL-UV RANGE 278 is a photosensitive acrylic-based translucent resin designed for bonding plastic materials. It is a single-component adhesive with intermediate viscosity, offering great flexibility to accommodate differential expansion forces between assembled parts. It is particularly effective on materials such as PMMA, ABS, and SURLYN. Key features include quick polymerization, high temperature resistance, and extreme flexibility.

Surface Preparation
Proper surface pretreatment is crucial for joint strength and durability. Surfaces should be cleaned with a degreaser to remove dust, dirt, oil, or grease. For thermoplastics like PVC and PMMA, a light blend of ethers or isopropanol is recommended, while strong solvents should be avoided. Mechanical abrasion can enhance adhesive strength. Surfaces must be dry before adhesive application.

Product Packaging
KEOL-UV RANGE 278 is available in various packaging options, including black syringes (30, 50, 600ml), 20L cans, and 200L drums.

Technical Characteristics After Curing
The product's shear strength is tested using ISO 4587 before and after heat and RH cycles. Results vary by substrate, with some showing substrate failure (EC) and others adhesive failure (EA).

Storage
The product has a shelf life of 9 months when stored in its original unopened packaging at temperatures between 15°C and 30°C. Deviations from this range can reduce shelf life.

Handling Precautions
