KENDRION SOLUTIONS Smart solutions for dental treatment units Reliable pump and valve technology for instrument supply Mobile dental treatment units require reliable valves to control water and compressed air. The 63 valve series from Kendrion meets the high demands of instrument supply and features quiet and reliable switching. State-of-the-art sealing materials enable trouble-free use even with disinfecting hydrogen peroxide. In combination with KNF‘s leading pump technology, we offer a comprehensive portfolio for the dental sector. Liquid and gas pumps from KNF impress with high performance in a compact design, a long, low-maintenance service life and quiet, low-vibration operation for a pleasant patient experience. Suction, self-sufficient compressed air generation, cooling of dental lasers and the treated tissue are handled by KNF pumps in dental treatment units, as is the handling of disinfectants by chemically resistant liquid pumps. Virtually limitless digital parameterization of the pump drives enables precise and energy-efficient provision of vacuum and pressure output. The brushless DC motors developed and produced in-house by KNF also minimize the procurement risk. Drilling turbines require consistently high performance. Kendrion Series 68 proportional valves enable precise air control. Large nominal sizes ensure the necessary air volume and a low pressure drop to operate the drilling turbines reliably and reproducibly over the entire speed range. The compact 15mm proportional valves make installation possible even in tight spaces. Kendrion pressure regulators are used to keep the water and air pressure in mobile treatment units constant. Fluctuating inlet pressure of water and compressed air is regulated to a constant level. Large pressure inputs are distributed via a fluid board. To prevent calcification and permanent contamination of dental treatment instruments, media-separated valves from Kendrion with excellent flow characteristics are used. These valves provide efficient switching of water or hygienic treatment and are ideal for use with aggressive fluids. A long service life of the devices and instruments in mobile treatment units is ensured in this way. Kendrion offers decades of know-how in the field of instrument supply. Together with KNF, we not only offer a holistic portfolio but also two long-standing development partners and proven suppliers for the dental technology sector.
