Testing and Standards: Ropes are tested according to EN 1891. Proper termination is required if ropes are divided or shortened.
Safety Recommendations: Ensure reliable anchor points and minimize fall distance. Verify free space beneath the user to prevent collisions. Consider dynamic ropes for frequent fall risks.
Inspection and Maintenance: Annual inspections are mandatory. Damaged ropes should be marked to prevent use. Instructions must be in the language of use.
Rescue Plan and Anchor Points: A rescue plan is essential. Anchor points should conform to EN 795 with a minimum strength of 12 kN.
Additional Information: Includes details on the Simple Braiding System (SBS) for abrasion resistance and CE conformity for European safety compliance.
