FIRE CURTAIN

Product catalog summary
Specifications
The fire curtain is designed to withstand high temperatures, creating an insulating inner layer that acts as a barrier to limit thermal radiation for up to 120 minutes. This is achieved through a multilayer fabric finished with 2 mm thick aluminum sheets on both sides. The base fabric weighs 1000 g/m2 and the finished fabric weighs 1120 g/m2, both conforming to DIN EN 12127 standards. The materials used include E-Glass and Steel Wire.

Procedures
The curtain features an irrigation system with a fast response hot melt bulb type, hidden under the false ceiling. Sprinklers are distributed every two meters, required only to isolate the fabric and not the structural elements such as the drawer or the side guides. The fire curtain opens vertically, allowing installation regardless of available clearance.

Norms and Standards
The fire curtain has a fire resistance of 120 minutes, limiting the spread of fire and smoke, and preventing the ignition of materials on the non-exposed side. It is reversible and can withstand flames on both sides. The GL side guides ensure tightness and integrity against gases and flames.

Recommendations
The fire curtain is equipped with a compact anti-flex counterweight mechanism that ensures safe closing at a controlled speed without electrical power, thanks to ISF Gravity Fail Safe technology. The metal drawer is dimensionally stable and houses the fabric and system components.

Models and Features
The EW120 model limits and controls flames and hot gases up to 1100 °C, creating an area with reduced thermal radiation up to 15 Kw/m2 for 120 minutes. It reduces heat transfer, creating a safe area for people and property. The E120 and EI2120 models offer similar features, with the EI2120 providing complete room sealing to prevent energy loss. All models support flames on both sides and have controlled lowering speed without power supply.

FIRE CURTAIN Kavidoors fire curtains have a fire resistance of 120 minutes. They limit the spread of fire and smoke, as well as the transmission of thermal radiation preventing the ignition of materials radiation, and damage to people on the side not exposed to the fire. Thanks to the fact that they open vertically their installation will always be possible regardless of the available clearance. vertically, Reversible, able to withstand flames on both sides. FIRE CURTAIN-3

High performance technical fiberglass fabric with stainless steel armature armature. Finished with a polyurethane treatment to preserve inherent properties of the fabric during curtain maneuvers. The innovative design of the EW120 fire curtains allows the limiting and controlling of flames and hot gases up to 1100 °C and creating an area with reduced thermal radiation up to 15 Kw/m2 for 120 minutes, thus favoring the permanence of safe areas during a fire fire. This model of fire curtain, in addition to reducing the emission of thermal radiation, also reduces heat transfer creating a safe area...
