The sonde is adhered directly onto the Ø 3 mm Polykat® fibreglass profile. Rigid parts such as brass sleeves no longer block the passage in cable ducts when excessively narrow curves are encountered. In the past, strip ruptures would occur now and again at such points if the fibreglass profile snapped off at the edge of the brass sleeve during passage through a bottleneck With the Flexi-Sonde problems with really tight curves are a thing of the past. It is itself extremely flexible and therefore capable of effortlessly passing through narrow-radius empty ducts. The guide probe is made of high-quality TPU plastic with a wire rope at the core. The Easy Grip keeps the fibreglass profile in its sleeve by an ingenious clamping technique. Just an arm movement advances the pulling rod. There couldn’t be an easier way of manual handling. Of course, the Easy Grip also functions in the reverse direction when you need to pull the cable through the empty duct with the fibreglass profile after insertion. The manual advancing device consists of a high-tech, hard-wearing plastic. The practical pulling device has an ergonomic shape and will fit any work-wear pocket. It’s always at hand for the “man” on site. The Easy Grip enables up to 50 % time-saving, with simple operation reducing the amount of effort.
