Invictus™ 785nm NIR Laser - 1

Invictus™ 785nm NIR Laser The Invictus™ 785nm NIR diode laser has been specifically developed by Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc., to meet the demanding needs of the process environment, where reliability and low cost of ownership are key requirements for the successful implementation of on-line Raman spectroscopy. Rated CDRH class IIIb, this rugged laser uses an external cavity design to provide excellent wavelength stability and the narrow linewidth necessary for most Raman applications. An RS232 digital interface and integrated keypad/LCD display allows for both local and remote control, and real time diagnostic evaluation. In order to measure Raman spectra close to the laser line and free from band broadening it is necessary to remove spontaneous emissions. This is accomplished in the Invictus™ design by incorporation of a high performance holographic bandpass grating into the laser package. When used with fiber-optic cables diode lasers can become unstable and mode-hop. This is prevented in the Invictus™ 785nm NIR laser design by incorporating an optical isolation which prevents optical reflections from the fiber force (optical feedback) from reaching the laser cavity and causing laser instability. Due to the laser diode type incorporated into the Invictus™ NIR laser and the design requirements for excellent fiber-optic coupling, these lasers do not provide a pure TEMoo spatial mode and should not be used with direct coupled Raman instruments. The Invictus™ 785nm NIR laser is configured as standard for fibercoupling with FC connectors. This laser is compatible with Kaiser's RamanRxn Systems™ analyzers. The Invictus™ 785nm laser is available in two packaging formats; integrated for the Raman RxnJ™ or components end-user applications or OEM, and for integration with the Raman Rxn2™, Raman Rxn3™, or Raman Rxn4™ analyzers. Features • Integrated Holographic Laser Bandpass Filter • Low Background Emission • Low Wavenumber Data Collection • CDRH Class IIIb and CE Compliant • Rugged, Sealed External Cavity Design • RS232 Digital Interface for Remote Control and Diagnostics • LCD Status Display Screen for Local Control and Diagnostics • Electronic Laser Power Control • Warranty 1 Year, Unlimited Hours (Extended Warranties are also Available)
