Invictus™ 532nm VIS Laser The Invictus™ 532nm Visible (VIS) solid-state diode pumped laser has been specifically designed by Kaiser Optical Systems to meet the needs of Raman spectroscopy. Rated CDRH class IIIb, this rugged laser provides excellent wavelength stability and the narrow linewidth necessary for Raman applications from research microscopy to process analysis. The air-cooled, solid-state design is an attractive alternative to traditional lasers. Ion lasers have historically been the only choice for excitation in the visible spectral region. Research Raman-quality lasers are often physically large, require three-phase power, and water cooling. Although recent advances have led to smaller designs, diode-pumped designs offer even more compact packaging, lower power consumption, and smaller dissipation requirements. In general, these ion lasers have a limited lifetime resulting in high cost of ownership. The Invictus™ 532nm VIS laser is an attractive alternative and comes with a 1 year 5,000 hour warranty as standard. The Invictus™ 532nm VIS laser is configured as standard for fibercoupling with FC connectors. This laser is compatible with Kaiser’s RamanRxnSystems™ analyzers. The Invictus™ 532nm laser is available in two packaging formats; integrated for the Raman RxnI™ or components end user applications or OEM, and for integration with the Raman Rxn2TM, Raman Rxn3TM, or Raman Rxn4TM analyzers. For ultra-low concentration (100’s of ppm) gas-phase Raman spectroscopy, the Invictus™ 532nm in conjunction with the RamanRxn SystemsTM suite of analyzers and the AirHead™ gas-phase Raman probe head, offer the sensitivity and speed of analysis required to successfully meet the challenges associated with this application.
