The Kaelus MI-187 is designed for deployment in collocated 600 and 700 MHz systems, enhancing cell uplink coverage through improved system noise figure. This results in operational and capital expenditure savings. The product is small and lightweight, minimizing visual impact, and supports full AISG operation with RET antenna support, compatible with AISG2.0.
- Downlink: Passband for 600 MHz is 617-652 MHz and for 700 MHz is 728-746 MHz. Insertion loss is typically 0.4dB, with a minimum return loss of 18dB. Maximum input power is 200W (average).
- Uplink: Passband for 600 MHz is 663-698 MHz and for 700 MHz is 698-716 MHz. Gain is nominally 12dB, with a minimum return loss of 16dB. Noise figure is typically 1.4dB.
- Electrical: Impedance is 50 Ohms. The AISG mode is auto-selected on valid AISG 2.0 frames, with a power consumption of less than 4W in AISG mode.
