The Kaelus MI-172 is designed for deployment in collocated 1800 and 2100 systems, enhancing cell uplink coverage through improved system noise figure. This results in operational and capital expenditure savings. The product features improved base station sensitivity, internal diplexing on antenna ports, and full AISG operation with RET antenna support.
- Downlink: Passband for 1800 is 1805-1880MHz and for 2100 is 2110-2170MHz. Insertion loss is 0.65dB max for 1800 and 0.4dB max for 2100. Return loss is 18dB minimum.
- Uplink: Passband for 1800 is 1710-1785MHz and for 2100 is 1920-1980MHz. Gain is 12dB nominal with a noise figure of 1.5dB max for 1800 and 1.4dB max for 2100.
- Electrical: Impedance is 50 Ohms. AISG mode is auto-selected on valid AISG 2.0 frames with a power consumption of less than 4W.
- Temperature range: -40ºC to +65ºC
- Ingress protection: IP67
- Lightning protection: RF ±5kA, AISG ±2.5kA
