Measurement, monitoring and metrology To monitor temperature of blood samples Presentation Blood temp 10 is an indicator that detects any breach of the blood core temperature above 10°C. Specifically designed to monitor blood bags or blood samples temperature, it can be directly applied to the product. It has been designed to meet the requirements of blood banks and transfusion centers. Finger activation Arming window turns green when it has been activated Once activated by a squeeze on the blister, the activation window is coloured in green and the indicator starts to monitor the blood temperature. If the temperature increases above 10°C during transport or storage phases of the blood bag, the breach window is changed from white to blue, indicating that the blood has been contaminated. If the breach window stays white, then the blood bag was maintained in the right conditions and can be reissued. Blood temp 10 allows quick and safe decision making without any device.
