Sequence 2000 Controller - 3

To prevent rapid cycling of boilers and therefore reduce energy wastage from purging and running fans, the Sequence 2000 control system maintains steam header pressure at the desired set point/s with the minimum of energy input by implementing the following field proven control philosophy: The system controls the available boilers (switched to Lead-Lag/Sequence control) to maintain the header pressure at the desired set point with a minimum of energy input. This is achieved by modulating the burners via 4-20 mA signals over their normal operating range. The overall system control is equally...

Via touch screen control of the HMI (Human Machine Interface) the following control parameters can be accessed: The following further control parameters can be accessed: Automatic steam valve control > Real time clock to allow sequencer to start and stop the entire system. NB When in the timed-off mode top-up control remains enabled to keep boilers warm. Timed/pulsed ֑cracked, ґopen, and ґclose signals to control boiler steam valve automatically. NB Җ The lead boiler valve normally remains open. Flow control (feed forward) Timed on-off Accepts 4-20 mA signal from a steam flow transmitter to...
