The Radol burner is designed for use in radiant wall applications where minimum forward flame projection is essential. Radol burners are specified when ambient or preheated forced-draught air is available up to typically 200 mm w.g. pressure. > Radol LP1 Radol LP1 Flame Radol LP2 High turn-down range without 'flashback' and excellent flame stability > Burner can be removed without furnace shutdown by use of an air-isolating damper thereby minimising downtime The nozzle mix combustion principle has been developed by Hamworthy Combustion Engineering through extensive modelling of the flow...
Open the catalog to page 2The Walrad self inspirating natural-draught burner is designed for radiant wall furnaces where the close proximity of the furnace tubes to the burner requires a product which gives minimum forward flame projection and uniform heat distribution. NOx reduction is achieved by splitting the main fuel gas into two streams, primary and secondary. The primary fuel uses a reduced quantity of fuel to inspirate 100% of the combustion air requirement whereas the secondary fuel is injected downstream of the primary flame region via a raw gas poker. Utilisation of the fuel staging technique has resulted...
Open the catalog to page 3The Hamworthy Combustion Engineering forced-draught down firing burner (DFR) is specially designed for the arduous duties experienced in firing reformer furnaces. Its robust simple design is particularly suitable for this type of application. The burner is mounted on the roof of the reformer and uses forced-draught combustion air which can be pre-heated up to 450C. The down firing reformer burner features a double block as standard. This ensures the optimum division of primary, secondary and tertiary air and provides a high degree of flame stability. This feature is particularly important...
