CZY-G Initial Adhesion Tester CZY-G Initial Adhesion Tester applies to pressure-sensitive tape, medical patch, self-adhesive label, protective film, and other materials. It uses two methods: inclined rolling ball method and inclined groove rolling ball method. • With the principle of inclined rolling ball method, instantaneous adhesion of samples can be obtained. • Dual Test Methods: inclined rolling ball method and inclined groove rolling ball method. • The steel balls are designed in accordance with the standards to ensure the accuracy of data. • Inclined angle can be adjusted freely from 0° to 60° according to users’ requirements. A: Inclined Rolling Ball Method. The initial viscosity is measured with the touch of steel balls and the viscous surface of the sample. The steel ball rolls over the surface of the sample which is laid on a inclined plate. Then, evaluate the tack of the ball with the maximum length of the sticky surface to obtain the measurement. B:Inclined Groove Rolling Ball. Roll a steel ball (with the predetermined size) through an inclined groove, measure the distance rolling on the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape on a horizontal plate, and then evaluate the size of the initial tack.
