G101 Gas Permeability Tester The G101 Gas Permeability Tester is based on the differential pressure method and is professionally used to determine the gas transmission rate and permeability of plastic films, composite films, high barrier materials, sheeting, metal foils at different temperatures. Product Features • 7-inch color touchscreen with graphical user interface (GUI). • Gas transmission rate, solubility coefficient, diffusion coefficient and permeability coefficient of the sample could be obtained in one operation. • High-precision pressure sensors ensure high accuracy and repeatability of the measurement system. • The instrument has three test modes: proportional mode, time mode, and intelligent judgment mode. • The test range can be extended to meet the requirements of high transmittance testing. • Pneumatic specimen grips prevent specimen slippage and ensure accuracy of test data. • The instrument uses high-precision sensors and can test various of gases, including oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, air, helium, and hazardous flammable gases (optional) such as hydrogen and methane. • The high-precision temperature control system (optional) can precisely regulate the temperature from ambient to 95°C with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. • A reference film for fast calibration ensures accurate and universal test data (optional). • The instrument is equipped with SAICHENG's latest operating software, featuring a user-friendly interface, intelligent data processing, strict user management, secure data storage, electronic signature, etc. • Equipped with micro-printer and standard USB interface. The pre-conditioned specimen is mounted in the gas diffusion cell to form a sealed barrier between two chambers. The lower-pressure chamber is first evacuated, followed by the evacuation of the entire cell. Gas is then introduced into the evacuated higher-pressure chamber, creating a constant pressure difference between the two chambers. The gas permeates through the specimen from the higher-pressure side to the lower-pressure side. By monitoring the pressure changes in the lower chamber, the gas permeability and other barrier properties of the specimen can be determined.
