STANDARD LAM I PACK, PEELPACK & SINGLEPACK U SHIMS Lamipack peelable shims are laminated adjustment shims of compact appearance, with standard dimensions. They consist of basic leaves of a different thickness on each side, joined together by gluing over the whole surface. In the shape of a U and with a total thickness of 1 mm, Lamipack peelable shims consist of 8 leaves of 0.1 mm and 4 leaves of 0.05 mm. Each basic leaf can be peeled off very easily, until the exact thickness desired is obtained. Peelpack separable shims are a set of foils joined together by a film of adhesive applied only to the block. They have the advantage that they can be peeled off very easily by hand, without tools, until the desired dimension is obtained. Each basic leaf removed can be used as an individual shimming component. In the shape of a U and with a total thickness of 1 mm, Peelpack separable shims consist of 8 leaves of 0.1 mm and 4 leaves of 0.05 mm. Singlepack compact shims are solid shims, with standard dimensions, in the shape of a U, and are available in many 4 mm. Any intermediate thickness can be obtained Standard shims are very often used for the alignment of transmission shafts between an engine and a load.
