Type III Melamine
Type III Melamine is primarily used in packaging and is recognized as the hardest high-performance sandblasting media among plastic sands. It is highly effective in removing thick coatings and stubborn contaminants, making it suitable for substrates with higher hardness. Key applications include cleaning and deburring industrial equipment and metal castings, surface cleaning of hard materials like aluminum, steel, and hardwood, and removing thick coatings from aviation and tank parts. It is also used for cleaning precision components in the electronics or optical industries without causing damage.
The product is available in 25kg PE bags, boxes, and pallets, with larger size bags available upon request.
The material is composed of melamine with antistatic properties, featuring an irregular triangle grain shape and available in white or multicolor blending. It has a PH value of 4-8, Barcol hardness of 64-74, ash content of less than 2%, specific weight of 1.45-1.52, and density of 700-800. It is resistant to weak acids and lyes, organic solvents, but not resistant to strong acids and lyes. The ignition temperature is greater than 500℃, and it has a Mohs hardness of 4.
The product meets MIL-P-85891A certification, ensuring compliance with strict military and industrial standards. It offers strong durability and reusability, quick cleaning to improve operating efficiency, and low heat generation to protect sensitive materials.
