PURGE WELD CHAMBERS FEATURES Purge weld chambers use the positive purge principle and incorporate an effective gas diffuser to permit rapid displacement of the contaminating atmosphere. Each chamber is supplied with a flowmeter that controls the rate of flow of the purge gas to the chamber. The ball check valve, mounted on top of the dome, exhausts the contaminated atmosphere as the inert gas flows into the chamber. VACUUM ASSIST WELD CHAMBERS FEATURES Welding atmoshpheres that meet the most exacting cleanroom requirements are achieved with Jetline’s highly controlled Vacuum Chamber. To obtain the proper state of dryness, the chamber is evacuated to a low state by the vacuum assist system, then back-filled with Argon Gas, leaving it free from contaminants and invisible moisture. Faster purge time reduces labor and inert gas consumption which provides an economical answer to the ultimate in contamination-free welding. CHAMBER OPTIONS Optional Equipment Plexiglass Risers for Purge Weld Chambers Extra working height can be gained with the addition of a riser. They are available in 15”, 18”, and 24” (380, 457, 609 mm) heights with custom sizes available. Entry Chamber An entry chamber can be added which is attached to the chamber dome to provide a separate entrance with minimum gas atmosphere loss.
