Based upon Jetline's wide experience of precision, mechanized welding, the unit incor- porates all the features of earlier models with many added enhancements which make it suitable for use in high quality welding applications in the modern environment. Description At the heart of the Jetstar II computer controller is a Pentium ή processor. This provides superior perfor-mance and user-friendly software routines.The controller is housed in a rack-mount style cabinet. A door with shaded plexiglass window protects the front panel. A cabinet cooler is fi tted to maintain all the elements of the system at an optimum working temperature.The unit is supplied with a full function keyboard equipped with a pointing device. The keyboard and pointing device are of membrane construction rendering them impervious to damage from inad- vertent spills. The keyboard and pointing device are mounted on a shelf which can be retracted into the cabinet whenever the system is not in use. A 17" (430 mm) SVGA LCD color monitor screen displays programming and operating information in text or full graphic mode. Two auxiliary disk drives, one fl oppy disk and one CD/RW drive, permit the exchange of data with other devices.
