Overview: JCB's Rough Terrain Fork Lifts (RTFL) are designed for high mobility and productivity in challenging environments such as docks, construction sites, and timber forestry. The range includes three models with lift capacities from 2.6 to 4 tonnes and lift heights from 3.6 to 6.7 meters.
Specifications: Each RTFL is powered by a 63kW (84hp) JCB Dieselmax engine. They feature a JCB Synchro Shuttle transmission for smooth directional changes and a four-speed synchromesh gearbox for optimal performance on rough terrain. The machines offer a choice of mast heights with up to 18° forward tilt and sideshift functionality for precise load placement.
Dimensions and Capacities: The models 926, 930, and 940 have operating weights ranging from 5910 to 7500 kg. They offer various mast configurations with closed heights from 2.41 to 3.32 meters and open heights up to 7.84 meters. The machines have a ground clearance of 0.30 meters and a wheelbase of 2.10 to 2.21 meters.
Hydraulics and Safety: The RTFLs are equipped with a single gear pump, operating system pressure of 221 bar, and a flow rate of 55 liters/min. Safety features include a deration valve for stability and pipe burst protection on mast hydraulics.
Operator Comfort: The operator module includes a safety cab or canopy with FOPS standard, ergonomic controls, and comprehensive instrumentation for monitoring machine status. Options include a suspension seat, tinted glazing, and various attachments for enhanced versatility.
Transmission and Brakes: The transmission system combines a 4-speed gearbox with a torque converter for efficient power delivery. The braking system includes hydraulically activated, self-adjusting brakes, with optional hydraulic servo assistance.
Engine and Service Capacities: The JCB Diesel TC-63 engine has a displacement of 4.4 liters, delivering 63 kW of power and 350 Nm of torque. Service capacities include an 88-liter fuel tank and a 60-liter hydraulic tank.
Attachments and Options: A wide range of attachments and options are available, including auxiliary carriage services, wheel and tire sets, and safety features like a flashing roof beacon and fire extinguisher.
