JBT URTASUN Leaf Washer Purpose The leaf washer consists of a washing tank, an output lifting conveyor and a pumping circuit with a recirculation and filtering system. There are 3 separate zones: The reception zone, fitted with showers at the rear to provide the current to move the product forward. The washing zone, with directed showers from above that generate different areas of turbulence in order to wash the product vigorously. Sand, stones and other heavy elements sink to the bottom of the vat. Depending on the product, this zone may have air pushed from underneath to create a jacuzzi effect. A removal area using a thermoplastic bladed lifting conveyor with rinsing showers. The washer was specifically designed to clean leaf products by removing sand, stones and other foreign elements that settle at the bottom of the washer. The settling zones have large openings to facilitate cleaning. It comes with special mixers to shake the leaves and ensure they clean correctly. The recirculation and filtering system enables product washing using the least amount of water possible. Separate electrical panel if required. Optional air injection. JBT URTASUN Grain Washer Purpose This washer can clean small grain products, such as peas and corn kernels. For peas, a special channel to remove stones of similar size and weight is needed beforehand. Then for both corn and pea, an inverse cyclonic separator forces the grain to sink under the Venturi effect, with the husks and light particles separated by flotation. Lastly, there is a draining vibrator that separates the grain from water, with the water filtered and recirculated. The equipment consists of a cyclonic stone remover, a feeding vibrator, a draining vibrator and a pumping circuit with a recirculation and filtering system. JBT URTASUN Dynamic Washer Purpose Consists of a channel fitted with strategically placed showers in order to create a spiral stream of water to vigorously wash the product while it is being transported. The product reaches a filter drum that removes leaves and small insects, allowing the viable product to pass through to a draining vibrator.
