FTNON Belt cooler &JBT In case of this belt cooler, the cooled water is sprayed over the product over the entire surface of the belt cooler. Over the whole effective length a raining system is provided. Water is sprayed over the product by raining plates. As the transport conveyor has an open structure, the water is running through. The water is collected by collecting plates, which are mounted in between the belt. At central points, the water is guided outside the framework. These sections are removable for cleaning. The water basins are installed next to the belt cooler. On top of these water basins, parabolic filters are placed, filtration 1,000 micron. The system has 3 water basins. The bottoms of the water basins are mounted at an angle to transport the water to one side and to reduce the total water volume. This to moderate the running empty of the machine. At the lowest point a drain valve is installed. Due to the high water circulation an optimum heat transfer and a homogeneous cooling down can be reached. Water runs in counter-flow through the system. The chilled water is added at the outfeed section. The water flows over, from one water basin to the other.
