
The AV sealer can process bags up to 470 mm (18.5") wide. A flexible solution for low to medium volume fresh cut packaging and sealing needs Functional description The standard AV sealer is positioned on a bench stand (or an optional floor stand). An operator manually positions the bag in the AV sealer, making sure the vacuum and gas flush tubes are inside the bag. The sealing cycle is started manually. By choosing one of the user defined programs, the bag is sealed, and/or gas flushed and/or drawn vacuum. After the sealing cycle, the bag is released and can be taken out manually. The simple PLC controls provide eight user defined programs for vacuum pressures and sealing temperatures for consistent sealing of a wide range of products including wet or dry lettuce, cut vegetables, fruit, fresh herbs and other small produce. The programs also allow different bag types (size, material) to be processed without any adjustments to the hardware. For sanitation, a gas purge can clean the vacuum and gas flush tubes. The successful operation of the AV sealer depends on the type of film used in your process. Therefore JBT FTNON advises you to send film to JBT FTNON in order to prove the successful operation. Hygiene The easy to disassemble and clean vacuum system, combined with only few moving parts and a stainless steel construction make the AV sealer a low maintenance machine.
