Introduction
This document describes the CABSIL metallic mesh insulating sleeve designed for electromagnetic protection of cables in high-interference environments. It is suitable for use in R&D laboratories and test areas.

Specifications
The sleeve is equipped with a Velcro system, allowing easy opening and closing without special tools. It is intended for round cables, bundles, or beams transmitting low-level signals.

Procedures

• Opening CABSIL: For permanent installations, the sleeve is threaded onto cables, and the PVC covering is heat-shrunk. An earth braid can be included, and earth connections are required at each end.
• Welded CABSIL: On request, opening shielding sheaths can be made with TISCEM for increased attenuation.

Technical Data

• Attenuation: Example for two layers of T.C.S. mesh.
• Standard dimensions: Up to 15 meters.
• Attenuation values: H field - 5 dB at 100 KHz, E field - 40 dB at 20 MHz, Plane wave - 80 dB at 1 GHz.
