Introduction to MXM Series Magnetic Drive Pumps

The MXM series is a new addition to Iwaki's lineup of magnetic drive process pumps, known for their balance of features and performance. These pumps are designed for chemical applications, offering corrosion resistance, durability, and safety. They feature a non-contact, self-radiating bearing structure to handle challenging operating conditions.

Key Features

• Non-Contact System: Prevents contact between the bearing and rear thrust faces, reducing heat generation and preventing plastic part melting.
• Self-Radiation Structure: Utilizes heat-dispersion holes to circulate liquid around the spindle and bearing, minimizing thermal deformation.

Material and Construction

• Corrosion Resistance: Uses carbon fiber reinforced ETFE, fine ceramic, and carbon for parts in contact with liquid.
• Robust Structure: Features high-strength ductile cast iron for heavy-duty applications.

Safety Enhancements

• Rear Casing Design: Unique shape prevents stress concentration, enhancing pressure resistance and mechanical strength.
• Dual Structure: Incorporates an FRP rear casing cover for increased pressure resistance and safety, preventing liquid leakage.

Optional Accessories

The Iwaki DR series dry running protector is available as an accessory. It detects decreased load current to stop the pump during dry running or air ingress, with settings displayed on an LCD. It is not compatible with systems using inverters.
