The SK series dust chambers comply with several standards for dust testing of electrical equipment, including IEC 60529, ISO 20653, EN 60068-2-68, LV 124, and BMW GS 95003-4.
The SK XL dust chambers are self-contained systems designed for reproducible testing using standardized test dusts. They come in three sizes with varying internal dimensions, door sizes, and weights. All models include LED lighting, multiple dust blowers, and a vacuum device.
The chambers are made of stainless steel and designed to prevent dust settling. They support a load capacity of up to 1500 kg, with a maximum of 500 kg/m². A pedestrian-controlled forklift can be used for loading.
The chambers require a power supply of 3 x 400 Volt / 50Hz and consume up to 16 kW. They need a CEE 32A plug for electrical connection and a compressed air supply of 3-6 bar.
Various optional features are available, including DAkkS calibration, additional flow meters, video monitoring, and data recording capabilities.
Available accessories include different types of test dusts, a starter kit, and a test leak for low-pressure equipment.

The iTS dust chambers from the SK series enable standard-compliant testing of electrical equipment inside an enclosure against the ingress of dust. Test chamber • The test chamber is made entirely of stainless steel (1.4301). The design of the chamber has been optimised to prevent dust from settling. • The DUTs are placed on the grating. These can be loaded up to a maximum of 500 kg/m2. The gratings are installed above the sweeping floor. • A pedestrian-controlled forklift truck can be used to insert DUTs. The chamber can be driven under in this area.

• Note: The adapter for the connection is included in the scope of delivery. The media connections of the SK XL are located on the back of the chamber.
