Fulfilled Standards and Regulations – TS Series
The TS series immersion columns are designed for standard-compliant testing of electrical equipment against water ingress, meeting IPX7 and IPX8 standards. However, IPX8 tests are limited to a maximum immersion depth of 1300 mm. The relevant standards include IEC 60529 and ISO 20653.

Standard Scope of Delivery – TS Series
The TS 500 dip tank is mobile, equipped with three castors for easy movement. Key specifications include a diameter of 500 mm, a height of 1400 mm, and a total height of 2100 mm. It has a load capacity of 20 kg and a water capacity of 270 liters. The tank features a perforated support design, six guide rollers to prevent tilting, and a scale for measuring immersion depth. Water should be changed at least every two months, and water coloring is possible.

Additional Functions of the TS 500 Dip Tank
The tank can be filled via a hose or a ball valve and emptied through a ball valve at the base. The immersion platform is manually operated using a wire rope hoist, with six rotating rollers to prevent tilting. The immersion depth can be read on a scale, and any intermediate position can be set using the hoist.

Options – TS Series
An electric rope hoist (TSX7.OP-10) is available as an option, allowing for manual or automatic operation. In automatic mode, the hoist moves upwards after a set immersion time, adjustable in hours and minutes.

General On-Site Requirements
Climatic conditions require an ambient temperature of 10°C and a maximum relative humidity of 70% (non-condensing). The water supply should be municipal water with a minimum conductivity of 30 µS/cm, a maximum hardness of 6 dH, and a temperature between 15-25°C.

The following standards and specifications for "water testing" can be met (IPX7 and IPX8). However, tests in accordance with IPX8 can only be carried out with the immersion column up to a maximum immersion depth of 1300 mm.
