RECYCLING PLANTS FOR FERROUS AND NON-FERROUS METALS AERAULIC WINDSHIFTER SEPARATOR The aeraulic separators of the AIR series are extremely versatile systems designed to enhance and separate the light fractions of the pre-shredded or screened waste from the heavy ones (such as for example 80% plastic multi-material, nylon film, paper, cables, sponge and 20% stones, glass, plastics and heavy metals). The air flow management technology, with particular shaped deflectors, guarantees a higher sorting quality, thanks matter to the experience of OMAR company, which has been working for more than 40 years in the sector of air filtration, pollutants’ extraction and abatement. The system is fully adjustable (control of air flows and deflectors, of the belt speed, of the height and of the approach) and it is equipped with a precise process control that avoids expensive maintenance activities and downtimes of the shredding line. The aeraulic machines of the AIR series are characterized by a compact design and they can be stationary or mobile as well as installed and integrated into existing systems, between a primary shredder and a secondary one (hammer mill).
