Product catalog summary
Introduction
The 7CAT2415 actuator control card is designed to drive a DC electric actuator in both directions, with or without mechanical end-switches. It features a microprocessor for digital control of speed and current regulation, efficient diagnostics for failures and anomalies, and programmability of main parameters. The power stage uses an H-bridge configuration with PWM at 16KHz, compliant with major EC standards.

Features
  • Power Supply: 24 Vac - 50/60Hz
  • Rated Current: 4 ADC
  • Max Current (Ta = 25°C): 15 ADC
  • Frequency: 16KHz
  • Max Heatsink Temperature: 85°C
  • Operating Temperature: -10°C to 40°C
  • Speed Reference: Potentiometer 5-10 KΩ
  • Motor Features: 24(12)VDC – 80 W
  • Speed Range: 0 – 24 VDC
  • Programmable Parameters
  • Safety Features: Output short circuit protection, MOSFET short circuit protection, thermal protection, ammeter protection, max working time
  • Size: 120x150x40 mm

Controller Settings
The controller is operated via a keyboard with three seven-segment LED indicators and three buttons (UP, MODE, DOWN). Programming is initiated with the MODE button, allowing parameter selection and adjustment.

Parameters
Parameters include default settings, speed directions, max working time, pause times at end-switches, ammeter protection, and display visualization options. Internal parameters, which are protected, include acceleration and deceleration ramps, current limits, and gain settings for speed and current loops.

Visualizations
The display can show various information such as actuator direction and position, software release, heatsink temperature, and motor current. The parameter F12 determines the visualization mode.

Alarms
The onboard display prioritizes the visualization of alarms, indicating failures or issues with the system.
