Ecological Brazing Alloys without Cadmium BrazeTec Ecological Brazing Alloys in Compliance with RoHS and REACH 494/2011 The silver-based brazing alloys on this page can be defined as ecological since they do not contain any metals deemed dangerous in the workplace, in compliance with the RoHS and REACH 494/2011 regulations. The alloys can be generally used for operating temperatures going from -200ºC up to +200ºC. They can be used to braze any type of steel, copper and its alloys, nickel and its alloys. When stainless steel is brazed, the presence of zinc in the alloy can cause corrosion,...

Copper-Phosphorus Alloys and Copper Alloys BrazeTec Brazing Alloys Containing Phosphorous for Copper and Copper Alloys Brazing alloys containing phosphorous can be generally used for operating temperatures going from -55ºC to +155ºC. The alloys have been developed specifically for copper-to-copper or copper-to-copper alloys (brass, bronze) junctions. When copper is brazed with copper it is not necessary to use any flux due to the content of phosphorus in the alloy. When copper is brazed with a copper alloy, flux must be used. The use of these alloys in junctions in contact with sulphur is...
