ISOFLEX 25 and ISOFLEX 50 are insulating materials with a microporous core, offering very low thermal conductivity and high insulation properties. They are flexible due to overstitching, allowing them to insulate various shapes. The materials are primarily composed of pyrogenic silica, opacifiers, and reinforcing fibers.
Geometry
Standard dimensions range from 250 x 150 mm to 1000 x 600 mm, with standard thicknesses of 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm. Tolerances for width and length are ±3 mm, and for thickness, ±0.5 mm.
Safety Instructions
The materials comply with the European directive UE2006/1907/EEC and are not hazardous to humans or the environment. The core fibers have a diameter greater than 3μm.
Core Composition
The core consists of approximately 50-90% SiO2 (non-crystalline), 8-49% SiC, and 1-6% other components.
Lifespan
When stored properly in a dry environment, the panels have no expiration date.
Product Data
The product is white, with a maximum working temperature of 1000ºC and a density of 220-300 kg/m3. It is classified as A1 in non-combustibility tests. Thermal conductivity varies with temperature: 0.026 W/m.K at 200ºC, 0.030 W/m.K at 400ºC, 0.038 W/m.K at 600ºC, and 0.049 W/m.K at 800ºC.
