Applications include: Trays are streamed into the machine in a single, twin or dual lane configuration. No expensive, complicated vision system is needed, and any steps to collate packs before picking can be dispensed with. A major benefit of individual pick-and-place packing is that each layer of trays in a crate or case can be arranged differently. For example, one can pack a crate with alternating layers of the two configurations shown here.
